Small acts, big impact.

In the heart of Păcureți stands an old, abandoned building right next to the town hall. To most, it might look like just another empty structure. But to Mayor Ionuț Voicu, it's where his story began — this was his elementary school.

Today, Păcureți is a village without a single center for its children. No safe place to go after school. No space for homework help, friendship, or play. Mayor Voicu grew up here, and he's determined to give the next generation something he knows will change their lives: a place to belong.

His vision is to transform this once-forgotten building into a vibrant after-school program — a place where children can complete homework, explore sports and the arts, and receive mentorship from adults who believe in their potential. More than a building, it will be a place of opportunity, creativity, and hope, built right in the center of the community that raised him.

The first step is the roof — and we need $12,000 to make it happen.

This is more than a renovation. It's one man's promise to the village that shaped him, and a chance for every child in Păcureți to have what he once had: a safe place to learn, grow, and dream.
